    Well, as long as the mustang (is it?) is as aerodynamic as it is now (as a barn-door) the Mercedes dont need to have the same amount of horses, or have to have a manual gearbox, or to be as light as the ford. And what you are saying about Germans, aint true, Germans have some of the most expensive engineering-technologies in the world. And the buildings you refere to, is antique. New buildings are as normal as in the us of a.

    Look under? What shall i see? I know what i see: cheap mcpherson at the front (even an opel corsa has that), and LEAF springs at the back. Switches from fords that costs 20 000, and fake leather. Plus it’s a copy of an old cool car, the old gt500 would always be better, but still, too old to match the Mercedes’ technology.

    Someone was a bit hurt now? Take it easy, it was just an E-Class, thats the crv-class in cadillac language, and still it beats a “musclecar”, i tell you, that abomination aint worth shit when it cant kope with a family sedan with less power, and an automatic.

  4. 2URBO2 on February 3rd, 2010 10:10 pm

    So? Real cars cost. Not like that leafspring, bolt on frame truck powered donutwagon. It’s cheap, runs quite well straight ahead, and shit’s it’s pants whenever a TURN comes up. The mustang is lighter, has a manual 6 speed transmission, and has more horses, but still, it couldnt take “hans”, so be quiet. The Mercedes is better than the mustang, or what you call that abomination of cheap parts.

    Take a FRACTION of the money thats in the krautwagon, add it to the Shelby and the Snake will leave that family car with rubber all over its front fascia. In other words , WHIPPLE, CAI and TUNE,, And its BYE BYE HANS!!!

    @2URBO2 LOL! That Shelby CAN be modded enough to wax that German fag car, And German engineering is only because it was stolen from the US. Hey why are all the buildings in Germany circa 1945 ? OOOPS!!!

  8. tonyinho2010 on February 3rd, 2010 11:48 pm

    mustang’s rocks!!!!

    Fuck Mercedes

    Germam engineering / arrogant pride has cost the Germans a lot the past 90 yrs of history..
    My position,had you asked, was based on having owned a 2007 SL55 AMG. I paid 92k used for the car; great fit and finish, but the damned thing was in the shop 4 times with unfixable electronic glitches.
    No matter what the “quality”, it was inexcusable…
    You have you preference based on fit and finish; mine is based on having owned one …I’ll put the $50k I save in my MB condo..And be a real man…

  10. 2URBO2 on February 4th, 2010 12:34 am

    @2001zx11d9
    Mustangs are for wannabe’s, real men buy Mercedes. :) Just accept it, your american pride aint worth shit in face of German engineering.

  11. 2001zx11d9 on February 4th, 2010 1:13 am

    Hey Blurbo2,
    Look under the back of a Mustang before you make another stupid comment……
    I guess you had to expend 3 posts in defense of the Mercedes price…
    I’m sorry…..
    FYI, Mercedes have the highest annual service bills of any car in the US , primarily due to the ECU’s crashing …
    Of course you already knew that….
    So much for all of that nice leather and “details”…
    That poor truck engine ran with the $100k Merc up to 140 or so…and its computer doesn’t crash!

  12. 2URBO2 on February 4th, 2010 1:28 am

    True, its a crime to call it a sports car, because it handles like a fucking truck.

  13. 2URBO2 on February 4th, 2010 2:08 am

    It’s all about details, while the AMG has a fine tuned engine and executive interior, te mustang has a pitty plastic dashboard, and leaf springs at the back, and still, a truck engine.

  14. 2URBO2 on February 4th, 2010 3:06 am

    Ignorant fool, AMG’s are not mass produced plastic racers, like the mustangs and corvettes. Just look at DETAILS, interior, and exerior. The Mercedes is a really good car, the mustang is just piece of shit, looks like a mondeo inside, and is made of 90% plastic inside. And it has still stiff axle, and has not self bearing chassis. AND at the rear, it has leaf springs xD HAHAHA! Top gear: the good bad and the ugly, they tested a mustang V6 vs a horse, and it loosed. As said, crap car.

  15. 2001zx11d9 on February 4th, 2010 3:40 am

    @2URBO2

    Hey Blurbo2, idiots are the type to make comments like you just did “justifying” the Mercs price…and putting down a car that costs half as much……
    The Mustang is what it is…performance for the masses…how many people can afford an AMG Mercedes?
    Not many….

    And by the way, the Merc wasn’t stock (it was running more boost) …so why are they putting more money into the $100k Merc? Oh, I forgot, to make sure it outran a $50k Mustang…..

  16. 2001zx11d9 on February 4th, 2010 4:11 am

    @ballathug69
    Again, my point is, the AMG E55 is a $100k plus car new. All of these Euro cars are over $100k.
    Saying the Shelby is “cheap” is relative; I just get tired of people justifying the high prices of these cars with quality. If you double the money put into the mustang, you wouldn’t be able to keep it affordable.
    And FWIW, my wife owns a 2007 GT500 vert. I paid $36k for the car with 15k miles on it,
    This GT500 had an intake and SCT tune. Who knows what the Merc had done to it.

  17. ballathug69 on February 4th, 2010 4:18 am

    @2001zx11d9 The point is that the Shelby lost at the one thing that it’s supposed to be good at AND it’s modded. Plus have you been in a shelby? All around it’s such a cheaply made car I’d say even $50K is a stretch for that thing

  18. 2URBO2 on February 4th, 2010 4:47 am

    Well, you seem like an idiot, so i’ll explain: The mustang, has suspensions from an old pickup, and an engine from one (f150 lightning), and the mustang has a bolt on frame, like Europeans made for 100 years ago. So, in terms of perfomance, the only thing that makes the mustang go, is that truck engine. But the rest is junk, full of cheap plastic, rubbish transmission, and it has the aerodynamics of a barn-door.

  19. 2URBO2 on February 4th, 2010 5:39 am

    Yeah, Mercedes-Benz, and /////AMG! ;)

  20. 2URBO2 on February 4th, 2010 6:04 am

    I know, and what make this VERY cool, is that though it has all that equipment and auto gearbox, it beats the BOG engined Mustang. Haha, so after all, aerodynamics and a more efficient engine saved the Mercedes. :) Gotta love those AMG’s!

  21. Stilini03 on February 4th, 2010 6:09 am

    @2URBO2 Merc also has cooled seats, massage feature in the front seats, air suspension with 3 settings along with raise/lower feature then navigation, cd changer, auto rear sun shade, memory seats and yeah… i could go on but it goes to show that the Benz has it all. amazing car.

  22. Stilini03 on February 4th, 2010 6:18 am

    Mercedes-Benz power

  23. 2001zx11d9 on February 4th, 2010 6:21 am

    Wow, another modded $100,000+ European car barely (to 140mph) outrunning a mustang that is $50,000.

    I’m impressed…..

    They should “LIST” all the mods each car has to be honest.

    I’m not saying the Merc isn’t a really nice car and isn’t fast, but anyone can build a lot of luxury and performance for $100,000

    Name ONE Euro car at that price point that can run with the mustang.

    Even V8 M3’s are $70,000, and in my opinion, a far better all around car than the E55 AMG.

  24. kamil511 on February 4th, 2010 7:08 am

    man that e55 doing some series woop ass to other card is it completly stock? i just saw dodge viper barely beating it

  25. Trollensteinowitz on February 4th, 2010 7:17 am

    @ubuntunoobz
    heavier and making more power?
    Yea you do realize the blower on the E55 is more efficient than the POS Eaton on the GT500 right?
    Pullied E55 vs. only tuned GT500 = more power vs. less power.
    4200 lbs. vs. 4,050+ lbs.

    Fun to fail isn’t it?
